Fragment of a panel that displays a captive kneeling with their hands tied. She is dressed in a loincloth and a headdress of cloth rolled up, with the hair tied up and tied with twine. The text mentions the name of his captor, called a ‘Guardian/ Captor of Aj Bolon You,’ ‘Lord of Fire’, as well as an epithet staff of the captive, who is called as ‘Guardian/ Captor of Yax Tok Bahlam’. In mayan culture, the proxy wars between the city-states brought as a consequence the capture of the rulers, the nobles and their families, who during the course could be ritually slaughtered by the winner. This panel was possibly commissioned by the ruler, winner of Two Pilas, presenting in a position of submission to one of their nobles were captured.
The panel (Late Classic) was looted probably from a nearby structure to Hieroglyphic Stairway 1, Two Batteries, as suggested by David Stuart (quoted in Houston, 2009)
