Glass type codex found at Nakbe

Glass type of codex that belongs to the Classical period, was found at Nakbe, Guatemala.

It is called vessels type of codex that have engobes and paint color cream, black and red, as these are the same colors that have the Dresden Codex and some of the Maya books, which were able to recover.

In the glass we can see a cat attacking a possible tapir. In the description mentioned the god of the hunt, Huk Siip, this may imply that it is a mythological scene.
We can also observe another character that could represent a kingdom known.

For archaeologists has been a bit difficult to crack this glass, because that half of the glass is broken, besides that the vessel was plundered, and for this reason it is more difficult to know its context.
