
Eccentric found in El Palmar.
The eccentrics in the maya area are of a ceremonial context, and are made of flint. They are called eccentrics because of the representation of the characters.
In the first photograph, which was published by Google Arts and Culture, we can observe that there are 4 characters seen in profile.
Their headdresses, their lips and their noses protruding.
The eccentrics were also placed on poles ceremonial.
