The White is located on the border between the regions of northeast and southeast of Petén. The mayan city seems to have been an administrative center that do not notice a great emphasis on religious activities and ceremonies. It is possible that The White has been a subsidiary or dependent of any other great city, such as Yaxha or The Naranjo, given the almost total absence of glyphs and sculpted monuments. Archaeologists estimate that The White served as a checkpoint and border as a center of commerce and regional trading. ©️ Drawing by E. Meijide. Project the White
